A Space for the Unbound draws inspiration from the rural ambiance of Indonesia in the 1990s. The game follows the journey of the main character, who confronts anxiety and depression while exploring the relationship between a teenage boy and a girl with supernatural abilities.
The protagonists, Atma and Raya, are high school students on the brink of graduation. Just before their big day, a supernatural force emerges, threatening their world. Players must guide them as they explore their small town, uncovering mysteries and deepening their bond amid a backdrop of uncertainty.
Award-Winning Game
As a product of Indonesia, A Space for the Unbound has received numerous international accolades. Notably, it was nominated for the prestigious Game Awards 2023 in the Games for Impact category, competing against notable titles like Chants of Sennaar and TCHIA. Unfortunately, it did not win, with TCHIA taking home the award.
