The aim of releasing 1998: The Toll Keeper Story is to inspire other Indonesian game developers to delve into local intellectual properties. Additionally, the studio hopes to reshape public perceptions of video games and utilize this medium as a tool for preserving history.
The launch of this game coincides with the Indonesian Game Day, celebrated on August 8, 2026. Originally released on PC via Steam on October 28, 2025, it is now available for PS5 users, currently priced at IDR 84,000, down from IDR 98,000 in the PlayStation Store.
