As the Prime Big Deal Days sale wraps up, Amazon's smartphone inventory is dwindling, leading to price hikes on many popular models. However, there are still some compelling deals to be found, alongside the introduction of a notable new device.
Introducing the Vivo X Fold6
The Vivo X Fold6 made its debut in China earlier this year, and it has now reached international markets. While its price tag is on the higher side, this foldable smartphone is being hailed as one of the best in its category for 2026. Our review describes it as "arguably the most complete large foldable currently on the market," thanks to its robust design, exceptional performance, impressive battery longevity, and significantly enhanced camera capabilities. If your budget allows, this is a device worth considering.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Pricing Update
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is currently priced at €940 for the 12/256GB variant, which is a slight decrease from its previous listing. This discount is available only in three color options: Black, White, and Sky Blue. However, the Cobalt Violet model remains considerably more expensive at €1,550. For those interested in higher storage, the 12/512GB model is priced at €1,150, which is a less attractive deal compared to the €1,015 price point seen during the recent sale. It's noteworthy that the 512GB variant's current pricing reveals a less favorable offer compared to the 256GB model.
Discounts on Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 is currently available with a significant 44% discount on the 12/256GB version. This price is €20 lower than its sale price from the Prime event. Unfortunately, the higher capacity 12/512GB model is now out of stock, making the 256GB variant the better option for those looking for savings.
Apple's Limited Discounts on iPhone 17 Series
Apple products typically see minimal price cuts, but the iPhone 17 has a noteworthy €100 discount, bringing its cost down to €1,100. The 512GB version sees only a modest 5% off. The Pro models from the 2025 generation are still available on Amazon, with the iPhone 17 Pro receiving a 10% discount for the 256GB model and 12% off for the 512GB version. The iPhone 17 Pro Max mirrors this trend with similar discounts. The latest iPhone 18 Pro Max boasts enhancements like a smaller Dynamic Island and improved battery life, yet it offers a similar experience to its predecessor.
Amazon's New Alexa Tablet Lineup
In addition to smartphones, Amazon has unveiled its new Alexa tablet series, which provides a more conventional Android experience compared to its Fire tablets. The standout model, the Alexa Tablet 12 Pro, features enhanced specifications, including Nanomatte glass for reduced glare, and supports advanced functionalities such as fast USB-C data transfers. The 12 Pro’s price starts at €725 for the standard model, while bundles with additional accessories can go up to €895.
For those looking for budget-friendly options, the Alexa Tablet 11 resembles the Fire tablets but includes improved hardware and specifications. The base model starts with an 8GB RAM configuration, making it a solid choice for casual users. The Alexa Tablet 8 offers a compact design with decent performance, although it lacks some of the premium features found in the Pro version.
As smartphone and laptop prices continue to rise, deals on devices like the Apple MacBook Neo, with a current discount of around 10%, are becoming increasingly appealing. However, the limited RAM on this model may be a concern for some users.
Overall, with a range of smartphones and tablets available at varying price points, now is a great time to explore the latest tech offerings.
