Caviar Unveils Luxury Foldable iPhone Before Apple's Official Release

Rumors about Apple's inaugural foldable iPhone have been circulating for months, but before any official announcement from the tech giant, Caviar, a Russian luxury accessory manufacturer, has already introduced its own high-end version of the device.

Introducing Caviar's Foldable Collection

Caviar's latest offering, titled "The Flagship: The First Foldable Phone by Caviar," was showcased in a brief 37-second video. This collection features a book-style foldable design that presents a wider yet shorter screen compared to the current iPhone models.

Design Inspired by Leaks

The design of Caviar's foldable iPhone is influenced by various leaks surrounding Apple's anticipated device that have surfaced on the internet. Staying true to its reputation, Caviar has crafted this luxury smartphone using premium materials, including titanium, genuine crocodile leather, sterling silver, carbon fiber, and 18-karat gold, all adorned with a three-dimensional Apple logo variant.

Exclusive Variants and Pricing

Caviar offers four distinct models within this foldable iPhone collection, each with a limited production run of just 19 units globally:

  • Titan: Priced at $13,840 (around Rp 249 million), featuring a black PVD-coated titanium body combined with black crocodile leather.
  • Dark Cherry: Available for $14,270 (approximately Rp 256.8 million), this model combines deep purple crocodile leather with 24-karat gold accents, inspired by the rumored Dark Cherry color expected for the iPhone 18 Pro.
  • Silver: This variant is priced at $15,270 (around Rp 274.8 million) and boasts a sterling silver top panel with a pure silver 3D Apple logo.
  • Gold: The most expensive option starts at $15,560 (approximately Rp 280 million), featuring a carbon fiber back with gold threads, a 24-karat gold frame, and an embossed 18-karat gold Apple logo. Caviar notes that this model is a tribute to Apple's 50th anniversary.

Availability and Apple's Official Plans

Orders for this lavish collection are now open through Caviar. However, it is essential to highlight that these products are not official Apple releases. As of now, Apple has yet to confirm the existence of a foldable iPhone. Nevertheless, leaks about the device continue to emerge, including images shared by gadget leaker Sonny Dickson on the platform X.

These leaked photos suggest that the iPhone Fold will feature a book-style foldable design, similar to existing Android foldable phones on the market. When opened, the main display is reported to be approximately 7.8 inches, while the external screen is around 5.5 inches. When folded, the device reportedly has a shorter, wider aspect ratio compared to standard iPhones, resembling a passport.

The dummy model also reveals a capsule-shaped rear camera module positioned on the left side of the device, housing two cameras with a flashlight beside them, while the front camera is located in the upper left corner of the inner main display.
