OnePlus N6: The First Smartphone in the Promising N Series

Although OnePlus has not revealed all the specifications of the N6, a device with the model number CPH2955, strongly suspected to be the OnePlus N6, has appeared on Geekbench with some key specifications. The Geekbench listing shows that this device will run Android 16, have 6GB of RAM, and be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6835 processor.
The MT6835 processor is related to the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ and Dimensity 6300 SoCs. Based on available information, the CPH2955 likely uses the Dimensity 6300, which features two Cortex-A76 cores clocked up to 2.4GHz. Meanwhile, the Dimensity 6100+ has A76 cores with a maximum clock of 2.2GHz. Both SoCs also include six Cortex-A55 cores with a maximum frequency of 2GHz.
Encouraging Geekbench Scores
In Geekbench testing, the CPH2955 achieved a highest single-core score of 788, while the highest multi-core score was 2029. This indicates that the OnePlus N6 offers promising and reliable performance for running various applications and heavy tasks.
