Maple Haven City Rush is a runner platformer game that challenges players to run continuously while skillfully dodging obstacles and escaping from bosses. As players navigate through the bustling streets of Jekarda and the Maple Haven apartment complex, they must collect as many coins as possible.
Each level presents a primary challenge of collecting five Maple Leaf items, which are scattered across various areas and can sometimes be tricky to reach. In addition to the Level Mode, the game also features an Endless Mode where players aim to survive for as long as possible to achieve high scores and climb the leaderboard, competing with others for weekly rewards.

A standout aspect of this game is its ability to bring characters from the animated series into an interactive environment while preserving their original personalities and behaviors. Irfansyah Aryabima, known as Bima, the creator of Maple Haven, expressed his excitement about allowing players to take control of the three main characters for the first time.

Bima noted, "For players familiar with Box, Bjord, and Pink, they can relive their experiences controlling these characters, like Box running nimbly or Bjord flying. Our long-term goal is to ensure audiences remember the trio from the Maple Haven series."
The Development Journey
Creating a game that captures the everyday stories of Maple Haven while incorporating a runner and action element has proven to be a significant challenge. Ahmad Alatas, the Game Designer at Dream Forge Creation, explained that maintaining the core characteristics of the well-known IP was their biggest hurdle during production.
"Each character in Maple Haven has a story rooted in everyday life. We needed to adapt this to fit a running and action game format, which was challenging. This adaptation is crucial to provide a gaming experience that resonates with both long-time fans and potential new fans who may discover Maple Haven through this game," said Ahmad.
