According to Windows Central, one significant enhancement is the Phone Companion feature located in the Start menu. This upgrade aims to display recent activities from your Android device without requiring users to open the Phone Link app.
New Features for Taskbar Integration
Another exciting development is the introduction of a dedicated smartphone icon in the Taskbar. When your phone is connected, this icon will appear, and clicking on it will reveal a flyout that provides an overview of your phone's status. Users will have access to various toggles for features such as 'Do Not Disturb', vibrate mode, and the ability to locate their phone. Additionally, the new feature could allow users to transfer files simply by dragging them to the phone icon on the Taskbar.
Improvements to Clipboard Functionality
