The leaked render, shared by tipster Sonny Dickson on X, showcases a striking design evolution compared to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The most notable aspect is the horizontal camera bump that stretches across the back of the device, reminiscent of Apple’s design language seen in the iPhone 17 Pro series.

Within this camera module, two vertically aligned lenses are positioned on the left side, accompanied by a pill-shaped cutout likely housing a third camera and flash. Reports suggest that Samsung may eliminate the second telephoto lens on the S27 Ultra, reducing the rear camera setup to three lenses.

Moreover, the design reveals a circular cutout at the bottom of the camera module. This feature indicates that the Galaxy S27 Ultra could include integrated magnets for Qi2 wireless charging and compatible accessories, as noted by Android Authority.

According to Dickson, this new design will be available in two distinct sizes. This likely refers to a new model in the Galaxy S27 series called the Galaxy S27 Pro, which is expected to share Ultra specifications while being more compact. Other tipsters, including Max Jambor and Ice Universe, have corroborated the adoption of this design for the Galaxy S27 Ultra. Ice Universe even shared AI-generated renders based on the existing CAD schemes for clarity.
For those who frequently monitor leaks of Samsung’s flagship smartphones, this elongated camera strip may look familiar; it was initially developed for the now-canceled Galaxy S26 Edge. Previous leaks have also indicated that the Galaxy S27 Ultra will feature a triple-camera system, including a 200 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus, and a 50 MP telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom and OIS.
