Recently, Oppo unveiled its Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max globally, but fans are eagerly awaiting the brand's most advanced camera flagship, the Find X10 Ultra. The anticipated release is still a few months away, but significant details regarding its camera capabilities have emerged thanks to a leak from Digital Chat Station.
Impressive Camera Specifications
The Find X10 Ultra is rumored to boast a remarkable camera setup. At its core, the device is expected to feature a 200MP primary camera equipped with a 1/1.12-inch sensor along with LOFIC technology, which enhances light and color capture. Additionally, it will include a second 200MP periscope telephoto lens that also has a 1/1.3-inch sensor, and a third camera featuring a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with an impressive 10x optical zoom capability.
Selfie Camera Upgrade
On the front side, the Find X10 Ultra is anticipated to house a 100MP selfie camera with a square 1:1 sensor design, marking a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the Find X9 Ultra, which only had a 50MP front camera. This upgrade highlights Oppo's focus on enhancing user photography experiences across both rear and front cameras.
Sensor Details and Production Challenges
The primary sensor, reportedly labeled as HPA/HPU, is believed to be manufactured by Samsung and belongs to the ISOCELL HPx family. However, the sensor for the 200MP periscope telephoto lens has yet to be finalized. Oppo is aiming for a mid-size 1/1.95-inch sensor for this camera, but should production delays occur, a fallback option of a smaller 1/2.76-inch sensor could be employed. Previous leaks indicated that Oppo was evaluating two different 1/1.95-inch type sensors for the 10x telephoto lens.
Comparison with Previous Models
The previous model, the Find X9 Ultra, launched in April and featured a similar 200MP main camera alongside a 200MP periscope with a 1/1.28-inch sensor. The significant upgrades for the Find X10 Ultra will primarily revolve around the introduction of LOFIC technology in the main camera and the potential increase in sensor size for the 10x telephoto lens. Should Oppo succeed in their sensor plans, it will mark a notable advancement in their camera technology.
The Find X10 Ultra is expected to debut in the first half of next year, leaving ample time for further developments and adjustments to the specifications. As more information becomes available, we will keep you updated on this exciting new device.
