Indonesian Teams Struggle at FFWS SEA 2026 Fall, Ready to Rise

Overview of the FFWS SEA 2026 Fall

The first week of the Free Fire World Series Southeast Asia (FFWS SEA) 2026 Fall has been challenging for most Indonesian representatives. Out of five competing teams, only RRQ Kazu and Bigetron by Vitality managed to secure spots in the top five of the current standings.

Current Standings and Performance

While Indonesian teams are working on their consistency, teams from Thailand have showcased their dominance once again. Team Falcons, AG.AL, and Buriram United Esports occupy the top three positions after the first week of matches.

Despite the struggles, the path to the Knockout Stage Phase 2 remains wide open. The second week, which concludes Phase 1, is crucial for all teams aiming to secure a top 12 finish.

Key Performers: RRQ Kazu and Bigetron

RRQ Kazu stands out as the top Indonesian team after the first week. With 162 points from two matchdays, they currently hold the fifth position. Interestingly, RRQ has yet to achieve a Booyah, but their consistency in securing eliminations has been their main strength, accumulating 114 elimination points—the highest among Indonesian teams.

RRQ's position is closely contested by Secret WAG, who is in fourth place with 165 points, just three points ahead. Bigetron by Vitality sits right below RRQ with 161 points, having secured one Booyah along with 98 elimination points and 63 placement points.

Challenges for Other Teams

ONIC Olympus is currently ranked ninth with 146 points, still within the top 12 but not entirely secure. The team has made significant roster changes, bringing in Rattapoom "POOM" Sunthalunai from Thailand, which adds an interesting dynamic to the competitive scene. However, the impact of this change hasn’t yet translated into a top position.

As a newcomer, MBR Omega has shown promising performance, finishing the first week in 14th place with 118 points. Although they are not in a safe position, they are only seven points away from the 12th place, Twisted Minds. Additionally, MBR made history by being the first Indonesian team to achieve a Booyah at FFWS SEA 2026 Fall.

On the other hand, EVOS Divine, the champion of the Esports World Cup: Free Fire 2025, ended the first week in 15th place with 117 points. Their performance has raised concerns, especially after a disappointing third day where they only earned 36 points. The loss of key players Rasyah and Reyy presents a significant challenge for EVOS.

Looking Ahead to Week Two

As Indonesian teams strive to improve, Thai teams continue to assert their strength in the FFWS SEA. Team Falcons leads the standings with 272 points, followed by AG.AL with 248 points, and Buriram United Esports rounding out the top three with 178 points.

The competition remains fierce for Indonesian representatives, and the second week will be critical. Matches scheduled from August 21-23, 2026, will conclude the Knockout Stage Phase 1, determining which 12 teams will advance to Phase 2.

For RRQ Kazu and Bigetron, the primary goal is to maintain their safe positions, while ONIC must ensure consistency to avoid slipping from the top 12. MBR Omega and EVOS Divine face a steeper climb, needing to close the gap and seize every opportunity to improve their standings.

Ultimately, the second week will not only be a chance for Indonesian teams to improve their rankings but also a decisive moment in their quest for a safer route to the Grand Finals.
