In celebration of its 51 years in Indonesia, Polytron has unveiled an exciting range of new products. The company showcased three key devices: a voice-controlled air conditioner, a portable speaker, and a smart projector, all designed to enhance user experience and comfort.
Polytron Neuva Pro: The Voice-Controlled AC
The first product highlighted was the Polytron Neuva Pro with Voice Sense. This innovative air conditioning unit stands out as the first in Indonesia that can be controlled by voice without the need for an internet connection. According to Erwin Kurniawan, a Product Specialist at Polytron, operating the AC is incredibly straightforward. Users simply say 'Hi, Polytron' to activate the device.
Once activated, users can easily command the AC to turn on or off, adjust the temperature, or activate the swing function without needing to search for a remote control. The Polytron Neuva Pro is available in four different capacities: 0.5 PK, 1 PK, 1.5 PK, and 2 PK. The smallest model, with a capacity of 0.5 PK, can cool a room in just 7 minutes, making it 25% faster than competing models.
Energy Efficiency and Features
This air conditioner operates at a power consumption of 310W, translating to an estimated daily electricity cost of around Rp 2,000. It is also equipped with a combination of filters that can remove up to 90% of dust, a carbon filter to eliminate unpleasant odors, and a HEPA filter to prevent the spread of bacteria.
Polytron backs the Neuva Pro with a 10-year compressor warranty and a 3-year warranty on the evaporator and spare parts. The starting price for the 0.5 PK variant is approximately Rp 3 million.
Introducing the Polytron PartyMax Go Speaker
Next in line is the Polytron PartyMax Go, a compact portable speaker with an IP67 rating, ensuring it is resistant to water and dust. This makes it an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor use. The PartyMax Go features a 360° Sound Direction, allowing sound to fill the room evenly. Additionally, its Broadcast Mode enables users to connect up to 99 units for a more powerful sound experience.
The speaker boasts a battery life of up to 7 hours on a single charge and connects to other devices via Bluetooth, USB, or AUX input. Users can customize the audio output using the Polytron Audio Tune app, available on the Google Play Store. The PartyMax Go comes in three stylish colors: Coral Blue, Midnight Black, and Charcoal Grey, with a price tag of Rp 435,000.
The Cinemax Smart Projector
Polytron also introduced the Cinemax Smart projector, which offers Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and can project images up to 100 inches in size. One of its standout features is its 360° rotating stand, allowing users to project visuals onto ceilings or walls. This projector runs on Movin OS, similar to Polytron's smart TVs, and includes pre-installed apps like Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and Apple TV+.
With auto focus and auto keystone correction capabilities, the Cinemax Smart ensures a symmetrical display, and it also supports screen casting from smartphones. It comes with built-in speakers and is priced at Rp 2,399,000, making it a versatile addition for home entertainment.
Conclusion and Upcoming Monitor
Lastly, Polytron revealed the Office Monitor PMD 24IF1930, designed for professional use. This monitor features Full HD resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB color accuracy, and an anti-glare panel. Pricing and availability for this monitor will be announced soon.
