Vivo has officially announced the upcoming release of its latest flagship smartphone series, the X500, which is scheduled to debut in China next month. As the launch date approaches, a mysterious device believed to be the Vivo X500 Pro Max has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.
Powerful MediaTek Chipset
According to the information leaked on Geekbench, the device, identified by the model number V2610, is equipped with the MediaTek MT6995 chipset. This powerful processor features an 8-core configuration with a base frequency of 3.10 GHz. The architecture includes two prime cores clocked at 4.55 GHz, three cores operating at 4.35 GHz, and three additional cores running at 3.10 GHz.
Impressive Benchmark Scores
The Vivo X500 Pro Max has shown remarkable performance in benchmark tests. It achieved a score of 2,574 points in single-core tests and an impressive 7,756 points in multi-core evaluations. This performance suggests that the device is likely powered by the yet-to-be-released MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, as suggested by tipster Digital Chat Station.
Advancements in Photography
In addition to its high computing performance, the Vivo X500 Pro Max is expected to bring significant enhancements in photography and videography. The company has confirmed that this top variant will feature a custom Sony Phantom 900 camera sensor. Furthermore, the main sensor will incorporate a 3-degree Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) technology, designed to provide professional-level image stabilization and smoother video recording.
