Vivo has officially announced that the X500 Series will be launched on September 21, 2026, in China. This announcement was made during the Vivo Creator Festival, where a teaser of the flagship device's design was revealed. The distinctive feature remains its large circular rear camera module.

The main focus of the Vivo X500 Series is the significant improvement in photography and videography capabilities. This series will introduce new imaging technology that promises better image quality, particularly for users who enjoy taking photos or creating professional content.
Advanced Sensor and Stabilization Technology
Among the confirmed technologies is the Blueprint LightGuard 900 sensor. This sensor works in conjunction with Vivo's ultra-high dynamic range technology, which is said to achieve a dynamic range of up to 17EV, allowing for optimal detail capture in both bright and dark areas. Another AI feature includes AI editing in the photo gallery, allowing users to edit images using natural language commands, making the editing process more convenient directly from their smartphones.
For the standard variant, the Vivo X500 is expected to feature a 1/1.28-inch Sony LYTIA-828 main camera, complemented by a Sony LYTIA-610 telephoto camera and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. Meanwhile, the X500 Pro and Pro Max will offer a more premium camera setup with enhanced telephoto capabilities and stabilization.
Anticipated Specifications and Release Information
Beyond the camera, leaks suggest that the X500 Pro Max will boast a BOE Q11 2K display measuring around 6.83 inches and a flagship MediaTek processor built on a 2 nm process. However, details regarding the processor, pricing, and global availability, including in Indonesia, have not yet been officially disclosed by Vivo.
