The mobile smartphone market is currently experiencing significant price fluctuations, largely driven by the rising costs of memory and storage chips. This surge is attributed to the increasing demand from AI data centers. Recently, leaked information regarding the pricing of Oppo's upcoming flagship devices, the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max, has surfaced, and it has left many potential buyers shocked.
Rumored Pricing Details
According to the latest reports, the Oppo Find X10 is expected to retail for €1,399 for the model with 256GB of storage. For those who require more space, the 512GB variant will be available for €1,599. On the other hand, the Find X10 Pro Max will come in a single configuration with 512GB of storage, priced at a staggering €1,799.
Comparison with Previous Models
To put these prices into perspective, last year's Find X9 series had a much lower price point, with the Find X9 launching at €999 and the Find X9 Pro priced at €1,299, both featuring 512GB of storage. This means that the Find X10 represents a shocking 60% increase in price compared to the Find X9 when looking at the same storage capacity. The Find X10 Pro Max, while still pricey, is 'only' 38% more expensive than its predecessor, the Find X9 Pro.
Market Reactions and Expectations
The higher price tags have certainly raised eyebrows among consumers and industry analysts alike. Many are hoping that these leaked figures are inaccurate or that Oppo will adjust their prices before the official launch. Despite the steep increases, there is still considerable interest surrounding the Find X10 series, particularly in light of its anticipated features and specifications.
Pre-Order Opportunities
Although an official launch date for the Find X10 series in Europe remains uncertain, Oppo has already begun accepting blind pre-orders in the UK. These pre-orders are often accompanied by attractive perks and discounts, making them a tempting option for early adopters. As the launch approaches, more details are expected to emerge, potentially alleviating concerns about the pricing.
In conclusion, the leaked prices for the Oppo Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max have certainly stirred up discussions within the tech community. Whether these prices hold true or change before the official release will be a significant point of interest for both fans and potential buyers.
