In October 2026, the price of the iPhone 17 in Indonesia has seen a minor decrease after an increase in September. While the drop isn't significant, it is certainly good news for those considering the purchase of this Apple smartphone.
Price Adjustments for iPhone 17
The latest pricing update indicates that the iPhone 17 variant with 256 GB of storage, which was previously priced at Rp 20,499,000, has now been reduced to Rp 19,749,000. This reflects a price cut of Rp 750,000, making the device more accessible for consumers.
iPhone 15 Also Experiences Price Cuts
In addition to the iPhone 17, the iPhone 15 has also seen a more substantial price reduction. The 128 GB variant is now available for Rp 13,999,000, down from Rp 15,499,000, resulting in a decrease of Rp 1.5 million. Similarly, the 256 GB variant of the iPhone 15 has dropped from Rp 16,999,000 to Rp 15,499,000, matching the same price cut of Rp 1.5 million for both versions.
New Releases and Market Trends
These price adjustments come at a time when Apple has launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in Indonesia, which have started their pre-order phase in early October 2026. The introduction of these new flagship models usually influences the pricing strategies of previous models.
Opportunity for Consumers
For consumers who are not focused on having the latest generation of iPhones, the recent price reductions on the iPhone 17 and iPhone 15 present a valuable opportunity to acquire Apple devices at lower prices. This could be an ideal time to invest in a quality smartphone without breaking the bank.
