Apple recently unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, but it appears that the standard iPhone 18 model has a later production timeline. Reports indicate that the iPhone 18 will commence production at the end of November, according to a source on Weibo.
Production Timeline and Stock Insights
The Weibo tipster provided insights into Apple's production plans, suggesting that the company is gearing up to manufacture a significant number of standard iPhone 18 units. This aligns with expectations for a spring release, which many analysts have anticipated.
Contradicting Claims on Stock Levels
Interestingly, earlier reports from the same tipster indicated that Apple might reduce the expected stock for the iPhone 18, focusing more on the iPhone 18 Pro Max and a potential foldable device. This raises questions about the actual stock levels, as the term 'quite large' does not specify a comparison for the production numbers.
Anticipated Features of the iPhone 18
Although Apple has not officially confirmed any details regarding the iPhone 18, rumors suggest the device will be equipped with a 6.3-inch OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it may be powered by the A20 chipset and include 9GB of RAM, positioning it as a competitive offering in the smartphone market.
Possible Launch Date
According to the information shared by the tipster, the iPhone 18 is expected to launch in March, coinciding with the release of the iPhone 18e. This timeline aligns with Apple's previous launch strategies, allowing for a staggered release of its latest devices.
As we approach the end of November, more details about the production and specifications of the iPhone 18 are likely to emerge. For now, enthusiasts and potential buyers are eagerly awaiting further announcements from Apple regarding this upcoming model.
