The system also struggles to differentiate between large pets and small children, although it is sensitive enough to detect small pets and even a wave of a hand.
It is important to note that smartphones and tablets cannot be used as devices to receive signals for motion detection; only static devices like printers, game consoles, or smart home devices can participate in this feature. Additionally, Comcast's official documentation includes a clause stating that the company may disclose information generated by WiFi Motion to third parties without further notice to users. This may occur in connection with investigations or legal proceedings involving law enforcement, disputes involving Comcast, or by court order.
