Xiaomi has officially launched its entry-level smartphone, the Redmi 17 4G, in Indonesia on August 20, 2026, following its global debut earlier this month. This device stands out with its substantial battery capacity of 7,500 mAh, which the company claims can last up to two days on a single charge.

The highlight of the Redmi 17 4G is undoubtedly its powerful 7,500 mAh battery. With fast charging capabilities of 45 watts, users can fully recharge the device in just 96 minutes. Xiaomi emphasizes that a quick 35-minute charge can provide enough power for an entire day of use.
Sturdy Display and Design
Equipped with a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display, the Redmi 17 4G boasts an HD Plus resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. The screen features a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, ensuring smooth performance for various tasks. Additionally, the display is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 7i, which enhances its durability against everyday accidents.
