Asus has officially launched the ROG Xbox Ally X20 handheld console in Indonesia, bundled with a selection of gaming accessories. This special edition console celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Republic of Gamers (ROG) line.
Enhanced Display Features
According to Adrian Pradipta, Technical Public Relations for Asus Indonesia, many gamers expressed the need for a larger screen when the original ROG Xbox Ally X was introduced last year. In response, the new ROG Xbox Ally X20 features a 7.4-inch display, upgraded to OLED technology.
The screen retains a compact design, thanks to a 60% reduction in the upper bezel. It boasts a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, a variable refresh rate (VRR) ranging from 30 to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,400 nits.
Durability and Performance
The ROG Xbox Ally X20 is designed for portability, featuring a robust build that enables gaming on the go. Its display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and Corning’s DXC Anti-Reflection technology, which minimizes glare by up to 65%. The screen is Pantone Validated and supports Dolby Vision HDR and FreeSync Premium Pro.
Powerful Hardware Specifications
While the console retains the same processor as its predecessor—the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme with AMD Radeon 890M—it comes with enhanced specifications, including 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The device runs on Windows 11 and is powered by an 80Whrs battery.
Gamers can expect an improved gaming experience thanks to a new control mechanism introduced by Asus. The console features joysticks equipped with GuliKit TMR modules that resist drift issues, allowing for precise control. Additionally, the D-pad can switch from a 4-directional to an 8-directional layout with a simple twist.
Exclusive Bundle Offerings
The ROG Xbox Ally X20 is presented in a transparent design with gold accents, offering a futuristic and premium aesthetic. It includes dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, a microphone, two USB-C ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD Express slot.
In Indonesia, the ROG Xbox Ally X20 is available exclusively in a bundle that includes the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 smart glasses. These augmented reality (AR) glasses feature a 0.55-inch Micro OLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, capable of projecting a virtual screen up to 171 inches from a distance of 4 meters. They can be connected to the console via USB Type-C, providing users with Bose audio and Native 3DoF tracking for a responsive viewing experience.
The bundle also comes with accessories from dbrand, a 68W adapter, and a Pelican Protector Case. Additionally, each purchase includes a 3-month subscription to PC Game Pass.
Available in limited quantities, only 27 units of the ROG Xbox Ally X20 are set for release in Indonesia. The console and AR glasses will not be sold separately. Pre-orders will be accepted from October 16 to 30, 2026, with a price tag of Rp 46,999,000. Customers who order during the pre-order period through the Asus Online Store and ROG Exclusive Store will also receive a bonus ROG x G-Shock Special 20 watch.
